Technology
Technology is key to providing the best image quality and features, at the lowest cost. WinProbe, being a small corporation, strives and succeeds to be at the very forefront of the latest technologies, and gathers these technologies for the advantage of our customers. In the Research Platform option we use a MacBook Pro which is a popular state of the art laptop with an astounding display which also offers the benefits of Thunderbolt technology. The MacBook, having achieved leading technology status is stable, and unlike many lower cost laptops, is not changing core technologies and mechanical layouts every 90 days. In the Clinical system an Intel NUCI7i7 processor is a seventh generation Intel processor which provides the highest computing power over power consumption and is used with a 3200 x 1800 IGZO* display for again the best performance and reliability. Microsoft Windows10 is used as the operating system, which although locked down for the clinical system's cybersecurity, offers universal development for the research platforms. Another example is where UltraVision utilizes an industry standard SODDIM random access memory stick of 4-gigabytes for storage of coefficients, parameters and images affording again the cost advantages of a standard high production PC memory component, and reliability of mass market testing and pricing. *Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide
