Ultrasound Research Accessories

A number of accessories are available to the researcher.

 

(There are two types of plugs that facilitate connections to the UltraVision, a Samtec SEAC connector or a TE 6565199 Zero insertion force connector (as we supply in the Clinical system).  Connection to the SEAF connector will have the least input capacitance and noise susceptibility but the TE connector is recommended for many reconnections.

 

We have designed with the the TE Comfort cable (PN: 500-7964-00) which is 160  42 AWG, 75 ohm coaxes, 84 inches long with IPEX connectors at both ends to be the most convenient.  We have the following printed circuit boards for the researcher's convenience.

UP36 Connects a TE-260 to an SEAF 300 Converter

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

UP38 Connects a comfort cable to a multiplexer that supports a 256 element linear array via 4 JAE Il-312-A80P connectors.

 

UP43 Supports a 192 element multiplexer in the TE connector housing and via a custom set of IPEX connectors.

 

UP44 Connects individual coax cables to a TE Zero insertion force socket (PN: 500-7964-00).

 

UP47 Connects a Research platform SEAF to Comfort IPEX connectors.

 

UP48 Connects a Research Platform SEAF to a GE 260 pin compatible DL260 connector.

 

UP49 Connects a Research Platform SEAF to a Siemens 156 pin compatible DL156 connector.
